Blocking of Exercise Books

Departmental Blocking

At FBO we are continually trying to improve the service we offer our customers. In 2017 we are investing
heavily in new faster machines to improve our packing and blocking operation. To allow for ‘the back to
school’ period, which is our busiest time we have organised our printing to peak and off peak times as
follows.
During Peak periods departmental blocking will only be available if you order 100 files and 300 books per
subject; smaller amounts will have to be crested in off peak blocking. Off peak blocking has no minimum
quantities and no surcharges for small volumes. Please note if you do require smaller volumes in the Peak
period there will be a one off surcharge of £35.00 per subject to cover all our additional costs.

STANDARD BLOCKING IS NOT AFFECTED BY THESE CHANGES

Peak Blocking - 1st June until end of September

Off Peak Blocking - all other months (this only effects departmental blocking).
Standard Blocking of any kind is not effected at any off peak time throughout the year - don’t hesitate to ask
any of our team if you have any questions. Always allow 5-7 working days for delivery.
